Having an artsy day

I count myself as lucky when it comes to my children and their love for all things arts and crafts. I wasn't sure if Gabriel at just a year or so would have any interest but today he spent nearly an hour alongside Louis while they painted and drew on the driveway.

Attempting to break into the garage, one of the more dangerous rooms in our house but of course it's Gabriel's fave one.

Obsessed with getting to this tomato

Not so happy about the leaves in his face

At least once a day the boys go out (usually morning or early afternoon) to play with chalk. Gabriel has started to sit on his own and scribble. An unusual sight as Gabriel rarely sits down to do anything for very long. He is always on the go.

The Boys drawling circles together, Louis was showing Gabriel how to get his chalk piece to go
"All the way around, like the planets around the Sun."

Gabriel wasn't sure about painting at first. He stood back and watching Louis paint for a bit. Then Louis started to show him how to mix blue and yellow to make green. This seemed to peek Gabriel's interest and he grabbed a brush of his own.

Not too sure about this

After the Boys were done painting Louis asked if I could make him a 'tent or something' with some cardboard boxes we had in the recycling bin. Super easy fun for the Boys.
